Photo taken at the 5th Annual Highland Gathering Acton Showground, 23 February 1929. Georgina Ballantyne was Babette Scougal's mother. This photo came from Alfred Barber's album (Babette's father). Babette notes: “Mum's sister was a dancer and won a few firsts that day. But what I’m so excited about is to discover that my Grandma also won a prize for the Irish Jig! She must’ve been in her 50's by then!”
